Kenko Tokina, a long-standing filter manufacturer, released the ZX series in 2016. The ZX series features a "floating frame system," an innovative frame system that minimizes stress on the glass, achieving extremely high flatness.
The "ZX II Protector" is the ultimate lens protection filter, evolving the "floating frame system" to achieve even higher resolution.
Not only has the frame system been revamped, but the coating has also been updated. The newly developed "ZR01 (Zero One) Coat" achieves a surface reflectance of 0.1%.
The ZX II Protector adds nothing to the image quality, leaving the image untouched. It's like a filter that lets in light as it is, like air.
