Newly developed 9.8 mm dynamic driver “PM-ONE plus”
Looking back on DITA's history over the past 10 years, DITA has consistently stuck to a single dynamic driver configuration. This is because DITA considered that by arranging the two driver units in a small space, they may interfere with each other and adversely affect sound quality. DITA has developed a new dynamic driver “PM-ONE plus” so that Project M can provide perfect sound quality even in hybrid configurations. This new driver has a different design concept than the previous one, and is designed so that it not only covers the entire range by itself, but can also be combined with other types of drivers to further enhance sound quality.
Hybrid structure that combines sound quality and comfort
The IEM-type resin housing that achieves high wearability and a SUS304 stainless steel acoustic chamber achieve perfect sound quality and comfortable wearability.
Highly transparent and rigid housing with super clear resin
Earphones manufactured using normal acrylic resin use a hollow structure with only the outer shell. However, in Project M, in consideration of the rigidity and aesthetics of the housing, the exterior of the acoustic chamber is all filled with resin. Advanced technology is required to realize such a construction method. When resin is poured into a mold, it is very difficult to avoid the generation of air bubbles. Therefore, in order to achieve this high level of transparency, we paid close attention to the development of production technology and the selection of resins. Additionally, the housing is coated with UV protection to enhance durability.
CARDAS wire rod “MOCCA” is used for internal wiring and cables
Since DITA's flagship model “Perpetua” first adopted a HiFi-only cable for the internal wiring of earphones, its effects have been remarkable, and it has been highly praised by many users. Project M also took on the challenge of further enhancing the sound by adopting HiFi-grade cables. Wire materials provided by the American HiFi brand “Cardas Audio” are used for Project M's internal wiring and the attached earphone cable “MOCCA.” A full range of carefully selected accessories
An interchangeable “Awesome Plug 2” is used for the plug part, and two types of plugs can be used: 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced. For the current plug design, a new mold was created and manufactured according to the MOCCA exterior. Also, the included earpieces (FINAL TYPE E Clear) are specially designed for phosphorescence so that the shaft part glows in the dark. Furthermore, the Systainer (Systainer) designed by the famous German tool manufacturer Tanos (Thanos) is not only lightweight and robust, but it is also the first system box developed in the world that can be stacked and connected, but this time, a mini size for earphones is included as a carrying case.
