[Special Grade Fukuju Rizan Tea] has soft buds and thick tea leaves, and has a high content of umami components. As a result, the tea water has a clear yellow-green color, is rich in umami ingredients, and has a smooth, sweet texture. It has an elegant tea aroma with hints of ripe fruit.
Fushou Lishan tea is grown in the northernmost part of Nantou County, Taiwan, at an altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level, where it intersects with Taichung and Hualien prefectures. Famous Lishan tea production areas include Fushoushan Farm, Cuifeng, Cuiran, Wuling, Tianfu, Songmao, Hongxiang, Daxueshan, and Bixianshan, with Fushoushan Farm, Wuling Farm, and Cuifeng being the most representative.
The history of Fukuju Rishan tea dates back to the mid-1970s, when retired soldiers opened Fukujuyama Farm at 2,000 meters above sea level and planted tea trees. The climate near Fukujusan Farm is characterized by a large temperature difference between day and night, and is covered in fog throughout the day in spring and summer, making it the ideal environment for growing tea. Being covered in fog throughout the day allows the tea leaves to grow thick and contain many flavor components.
The annual production volume is not constant and is small. Spring tea is in late May, and winter tea is in late October.
Once you drink authentic Fukuju Rizan Tea, you will be captivated by the mellow tea aroma reminiscent of ripe fruit and the smooth yet rich tea flavor.
