Confucius (September 28, 551 BC - April 11, 479 BC) was a great thinker, politician, educator, and founder of Confucianism in ancient China. He was also one of the most knowledgeable scholars, and during his lifetime he was revered as the ``Heaven's Obedient Saint'' and ``Heaven's Wooden Tall'', and in his later years he was revered as the ruler of Confucian Saints, the Most Holy, the Most Holy Master, the Most Holy Reverend Wen, the Most Holy Master, and the Most Reverend Master Xuanwang in Daesung. His ideas have had a profound influence on China and the world, and he is ranked number one among the world's top ten cultural masters. As Confucius' influence grew, the ``Kong Da Dian,'' a festival dedicated to Confucius, at one point became a major ritual on the same level as the rituals for Chinese ancestor gods. A Confucius Temple, or Confucius Temple, is a shrine built to commemorate the worship of Confucius. It can be said to be one of the most outstanding types of ancient architecture in China, and is an extremely important component of China's ancient cultural heritage. There are more than 2,000 Confucius temples in China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, the United States, and other countries, of which 1,600 are in China, but there are only 300 well-preserved Confucius temples in the country, and 21 have been registered as national key cultural relics protection units.
