Designed and manufactured by Spin Gear, Magic Yoyo's high-end model "Katana" has been renewed in 2024! The body is made of A7075 (super duralumin) and features a stainless steel weight ring.
The design has been left unchanged, with only the rim size and diameter being made wider. It looks almost the same, but when you swing it, you'll notice a dramatic transformation from the previous model with its powerful spin to a yo-yo that relies on speed.
The yo-yo string, response pad, and bearings are consumables. If the string breaks or the bearings break, please purchase the replacement parts separately.
Designed and manufactured by Spin Gear, the high-end Magic Yo-Yo model "Katana" has been redesigned for 2024! It features an A7075 (super duralumin) body and stainless steel weight rings. The rim size and diameter remain unchanged, only wider. While the appearance is nearly identical, the new yo-yo boasts a dramatic transformation from the powerful spin of the previous model to a yo-yo that relies on speed. While the previous model's brass weights provided stability, they were a bit too heavy for today's trends. This was the focus of refinements, with a wider shape and significantly improved maneuverability. The rim weights are now made of a different material, reducing the weight by approximately 4g from 66.4g to 62g. The body balance has been revised to provide a higher weight-to-weight ratio, resulting in a lighter, more powerful spin. The wider body also makes it easier to handle the more advanced tricks of 2024. The body is available in a variety of colors, including blast, gloss, acid wash, and splash, and the rim weights are also carefully colored and designed to look great, so Spin Gear is proud to recommend them.
This is a serious bimetal yo-yo. It's crafted from 7075 aluminum, a harder material than the 6061 aluminum often used in entry-level competition models, making it a serious competition model. We hope you enjoy your new Katana from the end of 2024 through the new year.
