The IST is a thumb-operated trackball that has an ergonomic shape that allows you to operate it in a comfortable posture, and extremely smooth operability. Adopts an ergonomic design that allows you to use it in your natural hand shape without having to grip it. The shape fits comfortably in your hand, regardless of hand size or grip style.
The support unit uses high-performance bearings manufactured by MinebeaMitsumi. By reducing frictional resistance, the ball can be maneuvered smoothly, as if it were floating in the air. In addition, since the ball surface is not rubbed, dirt does not collect on the support unit, allowing long-term maintenance-free use.
The support unit is easily removable, and the bearing as well as the artificial ruby can be replaced. *Replacement bearing unit (M-BS10) and artificial ruby unit (M-RS10) are sold separately.
It is equipped with 5 buttons, including "forward" and "back" buttons, which are convenient when operating the web browser or folders. Button function assignments can be changed using "ELECOM Mouse Assistant", which can be downloaded for free.
