Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.

A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.

With high performance, the scanner can scan data precisely up to 2mm to the edge of the book. In addition, because the scanner presses the book directly and flat against the scanning surface, it eliminates the shadows of the book's binding and distortion of its surface, allowing for clean scan data. Since the scanner does not press the book down with a finger, there is no need to erase fingers. The scanner has a simple structure: scan = data acquisition.
You can create your own data bank (book) by converting the data into searchable PDF. You can also convert the data into editable files such as Word and Excel.
It is also possible to automatically rotate, straighten, crop, and merge multiple page images based on the scanned content.

The scanning software "BookPavilion" supports Japanese. You can also use "eBookScan", a software specialized for book editing, and other software (installable from Plustek's corporate site).
