Product introduction
Kumomi Record #4!! The first 7-inch record containing the cover of the famous song “Departure Morning (Tomorrow)” by Chiemi Eri, sung by enka diva Kamino Mika, has been released.
A re-edited version by MACKA-CHIN has also been recorded in this work, making it a must-have for Japanese fans. “Departure Morning (Tomorrow)” is one of the famous songs released in 71, composed by Murai Kunihiko, who is familiar to Japanese fans, and sung by Chiemi Eri. It is a song that was covered by the talented singer Kamino Mika, who has accumulated achievements over many years across genres such as enka, jazz, and pop, with a new interpretation in 2022, and now, Kumomi Records has succeeded in analogizing it under an official license from KING RECORDS. It has been highly praised not only in Japan but also overseas, such as performances in New York, etc., and it is a song where you can fully enjoy Mika Kamino's overwhelming singing ability, which is appropriate to be called “Enka Diva.” While faithfully expressing the appeal of the original, this is an exquisite Philly Soul work in the Japanese world with impressive strings that are lavishly decorated from the beginning. A re-edited version by MACKA-CHIN is recorded on the B-side. It starts with an intro composed only of strings and guitar, and the second half is also a highlight of the crying part in which saxophonist Yasuhiro Suenatsu (Yasuhiro Suenatsu), a well-known member of ONEGRAM (One Gram) and JariBu Afrobeat Arkestra (Jarib Afrobeat Arkestra) participated. The content is fantastic, and the dramatic, groove-like arrangement that makes you want to hide it in a record bag even from a DJ's point of view, and is perfect for ending the last morning.
