Jimmy Page's latest remasters open up a new airship legend! The Led Zeppelin Reissue Project
The historic masterpieces "Led Zeppelin IV" and "House of the Holy" are already here as the second installment.
The second installment of Led Zeppelin's epic remastering project has already arrived.
Led Zeppelin's epic remastering project began in June of this year. The first installment, consisting of the band's three first albums, was released, and the music world was immediately abuzz with the quality of the newly remastered audio and the companion audio discs featuring never-before-seen recordings.
The second installment of this remastering project features two albums: "Led Zeppelin IV" and "House of the Holy." Needless to say, like the previous three albums, these have been digitally remastered under the supervision of Jimmy Page, and the deluxe edition includes a companion audio disc featuring previously unreleased material. Their fifth album, 1973's "House of the Sacred," not only topped the charts, but also achieved diamond certification for selling over 11 million copies in the United States alone. The album features distinctive Led Zeppelin guitar riffs and a distinctly bluesy sound, such as "The Song of Life" and "No Quarter," which made a striking impression in the film "Live." It also features tracks like the reggae-infused "Didja Make Her" and the funk jam "Crunch," showcasing the band's constant evolution.
Of all Led Zeppelin albums, these two were among their most influential and commercially successful in rock history. A new dimension to these classics has finally been revealed.
"House of the Sacred"
This fifth album, making extensive use of synthesizers, Mellotrons, and double-neck 12-string guitars, was a deeply adventurous effort, incorporating elements of reggae and funk.
