A Wide Range of Stylus Lineup to Meet Your Sound Quality Desired: This is the standard elliptical stylus model featuring a bonded elliptical stylus. Tracing distortion is reduced, resulting in more accurate information extraction.
Paratoroidal Coil Structure in the Body: The [AT-VMx] series features a unique power generation system called the paratoroidal coil structure. The paratoroidal structure is unitized and has a seamless core, so the magnetic flux is contained within the specially wound coil. This results in improved power generation efficiency and excellent linearity.
Threaded Cartridge Mounting Hole: Compatible with integrated tonearms, which are widely used in the global Hi-Fi audio market. The change to a threaded design makes it easier to attach the cartridge to the integrated arm.
Improved visibility of the stylus tip during operation: With previous VM-type cartridges, we received feedback that it was difficult to see the stylus tip when dropping the stylus on a record. With this new model, while ensuring compatibility with previous models (replacement styli and bodies), we have added a V-shaped cut to the protector as a guide for stylus positioning, improving the visibility of the stylus tip.
