300mm Woodworking Rules - You will receive a 300mm Paolini pocket rule and one slide stop from Woodpeckers. The material is red anodized aluminum. The rule is 1 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick.
LASER ENGRAVED & MARKING GAUGE - The scale is laser engraved with 1mm graduations on each side of the ruled line, with vertical edge graduations on both sides. A fine notch at the end of the scale turns this tool into an instant marking gauge.
SLIDE STOP - The included stop slides easily according to the rules. You can lock and repeat measurements on multiple boards. Remove the stop and insert it into the cutout to hold the rule upright. Use this feature to dial in the height of your router bit, saw blade, or DADO stack.

What makes the Paolini Pocket Rule different from others? The most unique feature is the stop that slides up and down the length of the ruler. You can lock and repeat measurements on multiple boards. There is also a small notch at the end of the rule. Set the stop, place the pencil in the notch, and you'll have a marking gauge in no time. If you need a vertical measurement, slide the stop from the edge and insert it into the cutout on the ruler. It makes a perfect stand to keep the rule upright while dialing the height of router bits, saw blades, and dado stacks with both hands, keeping it aligned with the easy-to-read scale engraved at the end of the rule. Easy-to-use graduation design. The standard model has 1/16" and 1/32" scales on both sides. It's side by side, so if you want finer scale, you can just flip the rules over and you're there. The same goes for the end scale. Just flip it over to see fine or coarse scales. This is a welcome feature if your shop's lighting isn't perfect or your vision isn't what it used to be. Bright white laser engraved scales on the oodpecker Red anodized surface make the original aluminum Paolini pocket rules one of the easiest to read rules on the market and one of the lightest. If you prefer a narrower rule, choose the stainless steel version. Both are milled to exact 1 inch width. The rule for anodized aluminum is 1/8" thick, while the stainless model is 1/16" thick. Both allow you to choose from inch-only, metric-only, or inch-metric combo scales.
