Amazon Review
This is their first major label album, released in 1998. With the addition of Ichiro Shibata on drums, the band's sound has become tighter and more dynamic, with each instrument becoming thicker and more powerful. The songwriting, too, is exceptionally polished, with lyrics that establish a unique, delusional world and melodies that are more catchy and reminiscent of pop songs.
The album is packed with their signature songs, but the deep highlights, from the strangely trippy boogie number "3x3x3" towards the end of the album, to "EVIL CAR," a stunning fusion of lyrics embodying a desire for escape and a thunderous guitar solo, mark a milestone for the band. This is truly their greatest work, a masterpiece of Japanese psychedelic rock. (Mamoru Koyama)
