This plastic model assembly kit recreates the Macchi MC.202 Folgore, one of the most outstanding aircraft in the history of the Italian Air Force, which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023.
Scale: 1/32, with over 200 parts.
This renowned Italian aircraft has been meticulously recreated by Italian manufacturer Italeri using a completely new mold designed with new materials.
The finished model is 276mm long.
The aircraft's speed-filled design is reproduced with the level of detail only possible in 1/32 scale, from panel lines to rivets.
The DB601 engine in the nose is reproduced, from auxiliary equipment such as the turbocharger to the engine support frame.
The cockpit, machine gun, and even the landing gear and landing gear bays are realistically and mechanically modeled.
The wheels are reproduced to reflect deformation under their own weight.
In addition, etched parts are included to enhance the finished product.
The cockpit meters are depicted using 3D decals for a three-dimensional effect.
Decals include eight aircraft markings, plus large decals recreating four of the aircraft's unique camouflage patterns.
