Tripod Mount for Canon RF IS USM Japanese F-Foto 100-400mm F5.6-8 (RF Mount, Manufacturer) LC-CRF100400

Beskrivelse
[Product Overview] This tripod mount is compatible with the Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens (RF mount). It is machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish. [Improved Version] Starting with the May 2023 release, an improved version has been released featuring a thicker ring for increased rigidity and easier lens attachment. [Product Features] Although the lens does not have a genuine tripod mount, this product allows you to mount it on a tripod and shoot. The shooting position can be rotated vertically and horizontally. [Notes on use] This ring-type mount is attached to the space between the lens's zoom ring and switches. The tripod mount is secured to the lens by wrapping around the lens with cushioning material. Therefore, if you hold the tripod mount without the lens when carrying the camera, it may come loose. When carrying the camera, hold the lens side, not the tripod mount. [Installation Method] Please refer to the product description image and install in the following order: 1. Loosen the screw on the tripod mount body until it is almost completely removed (counterclockwise). 2. Spread the ring with your hands. (In some cases, you may need to use chopsticks or similar to spread it further.) 3. While spreading it, set it on the lens. (The sponge inside the tripod mount may interfere with the switch on the side of the lens.) 4. Adjust the mounting position and tighten the screws. (After installation, the LOCK switch on the side of the lens may move, so check and return it as necessary. Be careful not to overtighten the fixing screws. (Overtightening may damage the lens body.) [Shooting Position, Fixation Method] The camera can be rotated horizontally or vertically. It is attached to the lens using a screw, which allows for removal and rotation by loosening the screw. However, since the tripod mount is secured by encasing the lens with cushioning material, it is not designed for frequent rotation or removal, so please use with caution. The tripod mount screw holes are compatible with both 1/4" and 3/8" screw sizes, allowing for attachment to a variety of tripods. The base is designed with an Arca-Swiss compatible quick release shoe. [Combination with Grips and EOS R3] We have confirmed that there is no interference with the tripod mount when using the EOS R6 with the original BG-R10 grip attached and the EOS R3.
