Curtiss, the air pirate bodyguard who challenges the protagonist to a one-on-one duel at the climax of the film "Porco Rosso."
His beloved Curtiss R3C-0 covert floatplane, a 1/48 scale model, has been recreated under the supervision of director Miyazaki, including the aircraft's interior and engine.
A Curtiss statue, approximately 5cm tall, is also included.
An instruction manual is also included, superimposing the film's setting with descriptions of the actual aircraft on which the model was based.
